David S. McCreary is the owner and senior partner of McCreary & Stockford, L.P. David practices primarily in the areaof corporate law and litigates in the area of commercial and personal tort law. He received his bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University in 1990 where he graduated cum laude and was an active athlete. David received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law in 1993. He is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas. In May 2000, David graduated from the Collin County Law Enforcement Academy receiving honors in all areas. In the fall of 2000, David served as an adjunct professor of Constitutional Law and Municipal Tort Law at Collin County Community College.

He started the law firm in 1994 as a solo practitioner and has helped it grow into a practice of four attorneys. David has served as a city councilman for the city of The Colony, Texas, and as well as an adjunct professor for Collin County Community College in Constitutional Law. During this time , David has also made numerous appearances on television, including the Dallas-based Channels 4, 8 & 11 news programs, "Positively Texas", and the nationally syndicated "The Leeza Gibbons Show". David was also the author of "Surviving the Death Penalty at SMU" in Sports Illustrated in 1989 and was featured in a cover story in USA Today about a case concerning a zero-tolerance school policies in 1999.

David is admitted to practice before all state courts in Texas and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. David is not certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

David is currently the General Counsel and Director of Operations for Great Western Business Services, Inc. a national and international advertising company with headquarters in Dallas, Texas that helps business owners find prospective buyers/investors.
